We will have Adoration again in Morris Chapel on Nov 6 at 7pm!

We went to the Sacred Music Conference at Our Lady of the Assumption in Turlock, California. It was such an amazing and uplifting experience. We are so Blessed to have been given the opportunity to learn more about how music can bring us closer to God. Thank you to Dr. Jennifer Donelson-Nowicka for the time you have spent helping all of us learn how to serve our communities better 🙏🏼✨️

Music is prayer!!

According to Pope Pius X, for music to be Sacred and fit for Mass (the highest of worship) it must be:
- Holy (excluding all profanity)
- True art
- Universal

We learned that music has many forms, but music that possesses holiness sounds like prayer and connection to God. It shouldn't be about the singer, but about offering the fullness of perfection to the Lord.

- This is a day to remember the Last Supper, when our Lord established the sacrament of Communion and the institution of the priesthood and of the Eucharist!

- As Catholics, we believe that the unleavened bread and wine turn into the blood and water of Christ through the process of transubstantiation
