Bible Study

St. Jerome is one of the early Church Fathers who lived in the late 300's.  He translated the entire Bible into Latin so people could read it for themselves.  He famously said, "Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ."

The Newman Catholic Community offers bible study every Wednesday during the school year in Sears 111, located behind and adjacent to the Morris Chapel. Each week, we explore the upcoming Sunday's scripture together and what it means for ourselves today. As a means of prayer, bible study helps us connect with one another and grow in our faith; to become better citizens, Catholics, and to better understand the deep meaning of our faith in Jesus Christ.
